"I am honored that the people of CA-35 have once again entrusted me with the responsibility of representing them in Congress. Now, we can move forward with the work that matters, including lowering costs, creating good-paying jobs, and building safer communities – just as House Democrats have done time and again," said Congresswoman Torres.

"At the same time, I am deeply disturbed by the chaos the House Republicans caused this week, which prevented members from being sworn in and bills from being introduced for days. Through it all, House Democrats have remained united, and now, we are ready to defend all the progress we have made and continue to deliver for the people. Let's get to work."

Congresswoman Torres represents California's 35th Congressional District in the Inland Empire which includes Chino, Eastvale, Fontana, Montclair, Ontario, Pomona, Rancho Cucamonga, and Upland. She is a member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee. For more information on her work on behalf of CA-35, please head to torres.house.gov.
