Appropriations Request
Overview:
My office continues to review appropriations requests for Fiscal Year 2025. Please note, additional Committee guidance may be released regarding community project requests. You may either submit the request form now and revise it once Committee guidance is released, or you can simply review the form now to ensure you are planning ahead to submit a strong application.
Types of Requests:
-
Programmatic Requests: A request for general support or funding for a federal program.
-
Language Requests: A request to add language to the yearly appropriations bill or report to accompany the bill, which often does not include dollar amounts.
-
Community Project Funding Requests: A new Congressional program where local governments and nonprofits apply for federal funding for a worthy local project. At the end of this page, you will find links to previous years’ Community Project Funding submissions, which may provide you with examples of successful community projects that were eligible for the program.
