9-1-1 dispatchers are more than clerical staff--they help first responders save lives and keep our communities safe. When Office of Management and Budget Acting Director Russ Vought came before the House Appropriations Committee Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee, I made sure to highlight my #911SAVES Act to direct OMB to recognize the lifesaving work dispatchers do every day and classify them as protective service occupations.
