El Niño Preparedness Seminar

Experts have predicted an El Niño of historic proportions, so to help residents of California's 35th congressional district get ready, I hosted an El Niño Preparedness Seminar to provide information on this weather phenomenon and tips on how to prepare. We were joined by speakers from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as well representatives from several local agencies.
