Economic Impact Payments

If you qualified, but did not receive both of your Economic Impact Payments, you may be able to claim the Recovery Rebate Credit on your 2020 tax return. Eligibility for these credits are based on 2020 tax year information. For more information on these payments, click here


Online Filing

The IRS offers its Free File program for qualifying taxpayers with an income under $72,000. Free filing is available through IRS partner companies to prepare and file your federal tax return on their site. You will get an email notification when your return is accepted.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Workshops

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program provides free tax assistance to those with an income of $57,000 or less, those with disabilities, or those with limited English language skills. VITA Workshops provide one-on-one assistance with an IRS-certified volunteer, who will offer free basic income tax return preparation. More information on this program can be found here
